About Our New Brand
Our Why
For years, people have called us MCC. We felt it was time to give greater meaning to that name, reflecting our commitment to providing support and opportunities to everyone in our community.
Introducing Milwaukee Community Crossroads.
After exhaustive research and name generation, we changed our name to Milwaukee Community Crossroads for a multitude of reasons. Our community, and the growth of that community, is at the root of who we are. That word and idea was a necessary element in our name. Although we have physical locations throughout the area, each one is a Crossroads where people help, build and collaborate with others in the name of Community.
Our new logo visualizes the mission and values of Milwaukee Community Crossroads.
The new visual identity represents how we build places for our community to gather and grow together. Whether young or old, in-person or online, we create places for all people from all parts of the city to come together to cultivate a vibrant community.
We've Changed Our Name
Although our name has changed, the core of who we are has not. The values, spirit and mission of Milwaukee Christian Center, which originated in 1921 in partnership with the American Baptist Church in a small church on the Southside of Milwaukee, lives on in our new identity. In fact, all those elements of Milwaukee Christian Center were inspiration for Milwaukee Community Crossroads and our new visual identity.
