Focus Areas
We’ve identified six focus areas instrumental in building community. Within each of these focus areas are a wide range of programs helping people in distinct yet complimentary ways, collectively becoming a unified force for community.

Youth Development
We can’t build community without a future to continue the building. Our programs for young people encourage well-rounded learning and growth.
Violence Prevention
Opportunities grow in safe, healthy, and hopeful communities. We offer a host of programs aimed at preventing, mediating and eradicating violent conflicts and helping young people develop skills and become leaders.
Housing
It’s not a community without a place to live. Whether it’s building new homes, improving old homes or providing access to affordable homes, we have a program for it.
Basic Needs
Health. Safety. Food. Without these building blocks of life, the community can't grow. These programs ensure those basics are covered by offering healthy foods and other essentials to be well.
Community Building
MCC supports residents of all ages and strengthens Milwaukee neighborhoods through a variety of programs that increase safety, beauty and interconnectedness across the city as a whole, with a special focus in the Muskego Way Neighborhood.
Older Adult Wellness
All older adults deserve to have their golden years shine. We strive to provide opportunities for all older adults to thrive by providing nutritious food and access to opportunities to support their health and wellbeing.
