Housing

A strong community is made up of safe, affordable homes. Milwaukee Community Crossroads makes homeownership possible by building new homes, making needed repairs for low income homeowners and training young adults in the trades.

YouthBuild

Sometimes, building a home also builds a life. Milwaukee Community Crossroads’ YouthBuild program does both, by training young adults, ages 18 to 24, in the skills to build homes for low-income families, while offering them an education towards a future career in construction, carpentry and other trades. YouthBuild is free to join.

Housing Production

Milwaukee Community Crossroads’ Housing Production program transforms vacant lots and vacant houses into safe, affordable single-family homes for low-income families. Turning what was nothing into home ownership, pride and a sense of community. To learn more, email housing@mccwi.org
